Isaac

Isaac has exceeded all expectations on the show bench and has the distinction of being the first Norwegian Forest Cat in New Zealand to be awarded Supreme Best In Show All Breeds - and at just 12 months of age! Not only is he the ultimate showman but he is a complete gentleman and delightful to live with at home. We are totally indebted to Alison Roberts for allowing us to have this wonderful cat who is such a superb ambassador for his breed and who has set such a high standard for those who follow.

Finnbjorn

Finnbjorn is from the first litter sired by Bowetzo and is the first New Zealand bred Norwegian Forest Cat to attain the Title of Gold Double Grand Champion. Currently the only other NFC with this Title is his father, (N)Mykjaakatten’s Bowetzo(Imp.Norway). Like his father, Finnbjorn is also a Best In Show and Breeders’ Award of Merit winner and is also the 5th Best Longhair Entire Cat in the New Zealand Cat Fancy National Annual Awards 2006 – and he is not yet two years old!

Finnbjorn is now a proven stud cat and appears to be siring consistently typey kittens to females from different bloodlines

This super young man has had a wonderful show season during 2007 winning several Best In Show and Reserve to Best In Show awards including Reserve to Best In Show at the NZCF National Show. He has also been awarded several Breeders’ Awards of Merit. We are thrilled with the way Kvasir is developing and especially with his wonderful temperament – he really is the ultimate “PR” man.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome this gorgeous, outgoing young man to New Zealand and thank Angela and Richard Auger most sincerely for allowing him to come to us. We are most excited about the contribution he will make to our breeding program and also to his debut onto the show benches.

STOP PRESS! On July 18th 2009 at the Pedigree Persian Cat Fanciers show, Ed Wood was awarded Supreme Entire Cat in Show, SUPREME BEST IN SHOW, BEST ENTIRE CAT OF THE YEAR and three Breeders' Awards of Merit. The judges officiating at this show included: Guy Heranval from France, Cheryl U'Ren from Australia, and Diane Davidson, Peter Hanley and Diana Puru from New Zealand. What a day! - and Ed was not quite 11 months old."

During 2010 Ed has contined his winning ways with several Best In Show wins and more Breeders' Awards of Merit. This included BEST IN SHOW at the NZCF NATIONAL SHOW in June under American judge Rachel Anger. In July he ventured to the Nelson Cat Club 8 ring show in the South Island where he was awarded BEST IN SHOW in the All Breeds Top of the South Ring (to enter this ring cats had to have previously won a Best In Show) and he was ultimately awarded SUPREME BEST IN SHOW from points accumulated over the 8 rings. To say we are proud of this young man's achievements is an understatement!

This little "redhead" was supposed to be a boy but she is a very beautiful girl and, in spite of having attended only a few shows, she has done exceptionally well with Reserve to Best In Show and Breeders’ Awards of Merit to her credit. Laufey has had a most successful show season during 2008 and is currently (Jan 09) nursing her first litter of kittens which look most promising..

We look forward to her first litter which we hope will be born early 2009.

This lovely girl is the litter sister to our fabulous Kvasir and she has also acquitted herself well at shows. However, she has proven herself to be a wonderful mother, having raised a lovely litter of five beautiful kittens, and we feel that she will play an important part in our breeding program in the future.

When my friend, Alison Roberts, asked if we would be interested in having Belle because she was downsizing her breeding program, we jumped at the opportunity because Belle was a girl we had long admired. Suffice to say that we were definitely not disappointed when we met this lovely girl with the most superb temperament and are very excited to have the opportunity of including her and the bloodlines she carries in our breeding program.
